Lovely place for a 4-night stay. They offer a heating system, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a work desk in the rooms. This hotel charges JPY 2500 per person per day for breakfast.

It deserves its 4 stars. All in all, it was super base for traveling to Kyoto. Thoroughly enjoyed that they had onsite restaurant Zuientei, no need to go somewhere else.
The bed was hard.

Best base for your vacations in Kyoto. Za Watami Karasuma Oike is only a short distance to the hotel. We really enjoyed staying at monterey kyoto
